60 PLUS Exercise & Socialise coming to Eastbourne & Hastings in the Autumn
So wonderful to see so many faces today in the 60 Plus Exercise & Socialise in Fishersgate. There were 24 in total and some people had to exercise outside the hall.
Here they are having a well deserved refreshment and a catch up afterwards, being looked after by the wonderful staff and volunteers in the Shark Cafe run by Age UK.

exercising & Socialising
It is so wonderful to see the over 60s out exercising on the green in Fishersgate.
And with the Shark Cafe (run by the amazing people at Age UK) now open for take-outs, socializing in the sun with a coffee and even a piece of cake is just delicious!
Outdoor sessions also happening in Hangleton and Durrington!

TIER 4 Lockdown!
connecting older people
Fun and Fitness for seniors
Are you or do you know a person over the age of 60 that would be interested in participating in our "Exercise & Socialise" sessions for the over 60s? It is currently online until restrictions are lifted. We are able to visit (a trained and cleared home care worker) seniors at home to get them connected and show them how to log on and take part. We may even be able to provide a refurbished laptop if they don't have one.
Our sessions, on top of being a fun interaction with others, help with strength, balance, flexibility, falls preventions etc ...
Please get in touch if you know anyone that could use our help.
Unfortunately East and West Sussex are now in Tier 4 lockdown. Therefore ALL our Exercise & Socialise sessions for the over 60s will move online once more until further notice.

SUPPORT FOR OUR CLUB!
Today we have received a grant from the Social Enterprise Support Fund #SESupportFund, distributed by Unlimited @UnLtd, and thanks to The National Lottery Community Fund @TNLComFund, to carry on with the work we are doing, keeping classes going through the pandemic and supporting our Over 60's!
We are very grateful to those organizations and super excited to be able to carry on with our work!
If you play the National Lottery, not only you are in
with a chance to win a lot of money but you are
also supporting great causes. So Thank you!
